People have fond memories of the pleasure of every bite of the biryani. They loved the delicious biryani, painstakingly made with specially selected spices and herbs. The unmistakable aroma of Nilar biryani has since won the hearts of many Yangonites, both young and old.
With a clear vision, Chairman Mr.Tin Hla quickly set about modernizing and re-engineering the business. He moved the production of the biryani from a small corner in a leased shop to a larger premise. New systems were implemented and critical steps were taken to ensure consistency in the quality of the products. He knew that to bring the business into the big league, he needed to continuously upgrade the production facility. Aggressive programmes were launched to grow Nilar into a leading brand of hot biryani. The Company was family owned from the day it started ( till date). The progress took shape by early 1990, Nilar International Limited was incorporated, from just a business name to to a Company.
